Times: 6:30 - 7:30 pm (Sydney time) We all yearn for a harmonious, happy, joyful, and abundant life without excessive stress and trauma. When we're trapped in a relentless cycle of anxiety, our minds become vulnerable, and every sense is on high alert as survival mode kicks in. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, a renowned spiritual leader, captured the sensorial effects of meditation perfectly: "You become totally relaxed, yet at the same time, you possess sharpness of awareness and strength of intelligence. Your senses become so clear. You can see better, think better, and hear better. Like a pure crystal, your senses reflect all objects as one Divinity." Engaging in weekly meditation for five weeks to clear your mind of heavy emotions helps you start your days on a positive note. The moment you close your eyes to meditate, your senses respond to the calmness, especially after chanting, which is said to increase the brain’s gamma waves. These waves process information across various parts of the brain and are linked to an enhanced ability to perceive reality through our five senses. You will begin to notice the things around you more distinctly – you will see, taste, feel, and hear them more vividly.
